HOSPITAL EMERGENCY PLANNING

It is consensual the need for health units, regardless of their public or private nature or size, to draw up contingency plans for coping with the unexpected result of any accident within doors, or an unexpected high influx of patients that require their care and attention.

Although it’s true that some hospitals have already taken some steps in this direction, there is still a significant need to work in the development of these tools. There is not only the need to fill in the gaps, but also to harmonize plans and procedures, taking into account for example mobility of staff between health units.

This is one of the areas of counseling developed by ILS, with the purpose of helping health units with the preparation of their plans for responding to emergencies.

From emergency department to pharmaceutical services, from catering to the equipment management, we bet on the articulation of professionals and the integration of processes to respond effectively to the challenges that may arise.
